The Anhelo Project condemns President Trump's attacks on immigrant communities all over the country through his executive orders to extend the southern border wall, threats of funding cuts to cities that grant sanctuary to undocumented immigrants and the ban on travelers from seven Muslim-majority countries. His actions are jeopardizing the safety and well being of communities and separating families across the State of Illinois.

We stand firm and will continue to work together with other organizations to support and protect ALL immigrants and their families. Although we currently do not provide any support services such as counseling, legal or mental health, we continue our commitment to provide information and referrals to the proper agencies.

We stand together in solidarity and are working harder than ever to fulfill our mission.
